Terms & Conditions

Set out below are the terms and conditions on which AWBEAUTICIAN-BEAUTY THERAPY  provides services to their clients. Please ensure your have read and fully understand them prior to booking or buying any service or product from AWBeauutician- beauty therapy

1. We take a 20% non refundable Booking Fee  for all online bookings. Should you need to cancel or re arrange an appointment we kindly ask you for 48 hours notice before your appointment. Failure to give the full notice will unfortunately result in the Booking Fee

being lost. Should you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice any Booking Fee paid will transfer to another appointment or will remain on the clients account to spend at a later date on treatments or products.

Cancellations and amendments within 48 hours allow us to manage our diaries and offer appointment times to other clients.

2. Group bookings or block bookings will also require a 20 % Booking Fee upon booking which again is non refundable. If 48 notice is given to cancel or amend any bookings the Booking Fee will transfer to another appointment or go onto the clients account. Failure to give 48 hours notice will unfortunately result in the Booking Fee being lost.

We reserve the right to take a non refundable 20% Booking Fee for any appointment booked over the phone or in person, again we require a 48 hour cancellation should you wish to amend or cancel your booking. Failure to do so will unfortunately result in your

Booking Fee being lost. Should you give a minimum 48 hours notice to cancel or amend an appointment your Booking Fee

 will be transferred to another appointment or placed on your account.

3. Treatments courses

All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment. 6 weekly courses must be taken within 6 weeks and monthly courses must be taken within 12 months. Courses are non refundable but should a problem or allergy occur during the treatment the value can be transferred to another treatment or held on the clients account up to 6 months.

4. Late Arrival

Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. We will always endeavour to offer you the full treatment time.

5. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid from 6 months from date of purchase and are non refundable. Discretionary extension of the gift voucher expiry date will be used where necessary.

6. Medical Conditions/Pregnancy

Please inform us of any medical conditions you may have including pregnancy at the time of booking, as some treatments may not be suitable for you.

7. Patch Tests

Selected treatments will require a patch test 24 hours before a treatment. To comply with our health and safety regulations under no circumstances can we go ahead without a patch test.

What does a deposit mean when making a appointment?

The deposit means that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you must give at least 48 hours notice or you will lose the deposit. By also not turning up to your appointment and not notifying us 48 hours prior means you will lose the booking fees 

Is a  booking fees refundable?

In summary, a deposit is security for the buyer's performance of the contract. It is generally not refundable unless the contract expressly states otherwise. In contrast, a part-payment is refundable, subject to any losses that the innocent party may have as a result of the breach.

What is a non-refundable booking fee?

With a Non-Refundable Rate, guests pay the full price if they cancel, make changes or don't show up.

BOOKING FAQS

Even with the best technology in the world, which we use, 6-15 sessions are needed for good results, which is what we recommend for most people. Book a course of 6x and if you need more you can always book some when you finish the first 6x. Courses of 3x are good for a quick boost / top-up. If you have severe skin looseness/cellulite or if you are a perfectionist you can book 12x straight away.

(Amazing “body transformations” in a one or two sessions, with ANY technology and regardless of how expensive the treatment is or how famous the provider is, are gimmicks. Don’t believe the hype. We prefer to keep it honest, professional and real.)

You may also try just one treatment and compare our experience and skills and how intensive yet comfortable the treatment is in comparison to anything else you have had in the past

Book anything from twice a week to once in two weeks (maintenance sessions can be booked once a month or once in every two months)

Leave two or more days between sessions, e.g. Monday and then again Thursday etc

You can separate courses of 3x or more sessions by up to a month (e.g. 3x before a holiday and 3x after, if you don’t live in Edinburgh)

If the availability is not suitable for you, you can register for cancellation alerts, so that you get notified as soon as someone cancels

All first treatments, either stand-alone or part of a course, include full expert assessment and consultation

Please note that there are no “hidden” appointments that can be booked by phone: all our availability is visible here. Everything is transparent and bookable online.

Please note that, as with any medical or aesthetic treatment, results and reaction to treatment vary from person to person and therefore although we apply the most advanced treatment possible to each and every client, we cannot guarantee specific results or 100% no adverse reactions
